These matt white ceiling panels are Guardian Neptune 250 PVC boards in a flat, low-glare white. Size on this listing: 250mm wide × 4m long × 8.5mm thick, sold in packs of 4 pattern-matched panels.
A pack covers 4m² (4 × 0.25m × 4m). That is enough for many small cloakrooms; a family bathroom ceiling usually needs two packs plus waste and trims.
Matt white ceiling panels hide the old Artex, the stained emulsion and the black specks that grow on bathroom plaster. They click together on a tongue and groove, wipe clean, and do not need grout. Use them on ceilings first — that is what this product is for — and on walls in wet rooms where you want the same quiet white as the soffit of the room.
Matt is the point. Gloss white ceilings bounce every downlighter and show every ripple. These matt white ceiling panels stay calm under spots and natural light.

How many packs?
Ceiling area (length × width) ÷ 4, then add 10–15% for cuts, edges and the last awkward strip.
Example: 2.4m × 3.0m bathroom = 7.2m² → 2 packs (8m²) is tight; 3 packs is safer once trims and waste are in.
4m lengths mean fewer end joints on a typical room than 2.6m boards — plan the run so joins sit over a joist or in a less obvious bay.

Store packs flat. Take them out of wrap and let them settle in the room before you cut a full ceiling.
Waterproof face in a wet room
Steam hits the PVC, not the plaster. Used with sealed trims, matt white ceiling panels take bathroom moisture that destroys emulsion.
Mould has nothing to feed on
Painted ceilings stain at the shower and around extractor stains. A sealed PVC face does not hold damp the same way. Ventilate the room as well — panels are not a substitute for an extractor.
Matt, not a glare box

They are cladding, not a structural ceiling. Fix into sound joists or a sound boarded soffit. Do not hang heavy fittings from the PVC skin — fix lights and fans through to timber.
