This 9mm soffit board is a plain, flat uPVC board supplied in 5 metre lengths. It lines the underside of the eaves between the fascia and the wall, closing the roofline with a smooth, even face.
A 9mm soffit board is 9mm thick, solid and flat — not a hollow tongue-and-groove sheet. It has one sawn edge and one finished edge, so it can be cut to the correct eaves width on site. Use it with matching fascia and guttering for a clean, continuous finish that does not need painting.
If the existing timber fascia is being capped or replaced, this 9mm soffit board is the standard flat board for the underside of the eaves. Where the roof needs built-in eaves ventilation, use a vented soffit or add circular soffit vents instead.

Measure from the back of the fascia to the wall in more than one place. Old timber eaves are rarely consistent. Choose a 9mm soffit board width that covers the gap cleanly into the fascia groove or trim.
