These Washed Oak acoustic panels are slatted wall panels with a real oak veneer in a pale, pared-back tone. The wash takes the warmth down so the timber reads soft and neutral — closer to Scandi or coastal oak than a rich mid-brown.
Slats sit on an acoustic felt backing. You get the lined, modern wall and a quieter room: less echo from voices, TV and hard floors. Use Washed Oak acoustic panels on living-room feature walls, offices, bedrooms and reception spaces where Contemporary Oak would feel a shade too golden.
They are an internal decorative acoustic lining. They tame reverberation. They do not soundproof a party wall, and they are not a shower panel.
If you want a crisper, slightly deeper oak, use Contemporary Oak acoustic panels.
Also known as: washed oak slat wall, light oak acoustic panel, bleached oak slats, pale oak veneer acoustic panel.
Confirm the exact panel size in stock when you order. The usual UK slat format is around 2400 × 600mm (about 1.44m² per panel); some ranges also offer 3000mm lengths.

Veneer varies. Mix Washed Oak acoustic panels across the wall so pale and slightly warmer slats blend.
Store flat and acclimatise in the room before fixing.
Hard rooms bounce sound. The slat-and-felt build absorbs and breaks up some of that energy, so the space feels calmer. Good for open-plan living and offices.
They will not stop next-door bass on their own. That needs mass and isolation. These panels are the visible comfort layer.
Keep Washed Oak acoustic panels dry and away from hobs and showers.

What are Washed Oak acoustic panels?
Washed Oak acoustic panels are slatted panels with pale real oak veneer on acoustic felt.
Washed Oak or Contemporary Oak?
Washed Oak is lighter and softer. Contemporary Oak is a clearer mid oak.
Do they soundproof?
They reduce echo. They do not isolate a party wall on their own.
Is the oak real?
Yes — real oak veneer on the slats.
Bathroom use?
Not in wet zones. Use PVC shower panels there.
How many panels?
Wall area ÷ coverage (often 1.44m² on 2400 × 600), plus waste.
Do you fit as well as supply?
Ask us — supply is standard; fitting can be arranged on suitable jobs.
